New book about TGD

After two years of hard editing work a new book Topological Geometrodynamics: Revised Version is published at Bentham. The book is a strongly revised and widely extended edition of Topological Geometrodynamics published at Luniver Press roughly five years ago.

For about year ago I published Life and Consciousness: a TGD Based Vision at Lambert.

The evolution of TGD has been so fast during the last year that even the newest book is already now slightly out-of-date. This is unavoidable in a situation when new anomalies demanding explanations emerge almost on daily basis and also the mathematical structure and physical interpretation have been developing in big steps. For instance, the newest quantum leap in twistorial approach to TGD is missing as also the understanding gained about quantum criticality and hierarchy of Planck constants. In any case, I am proud about the book. Only by editing a book from beginning to end one learns how hard it is to write a book about fundamental physics! Try yourself!

Congrats Matti, I remember being lost and confused when I read the first edition, my, how times have changed --Stephen

Ye, I will :)
Congratulations. There is so much work behind it.
When Lubos start to talk about p-adic strings it will be sold out....

I do not read old texts unless they are at my computer so that I can change them;-).

To me the old texts are good, as an 'explanation' to how you think many times. Don't destroy them.

The olds text are of course good. The new book contains however a huge number of new results: hierarchy of Planck constants, probably also the understanding of origins of p-adic physics is included, strong form of holography, gauge-theory-GRT limit of TGD, understanding of Equivalence Principle, understanding of induced spinor fields (restriction of modes to string world sheets), etc... 5 years can be a long time when theory is in evolutionary period!

The new book also misses something: perhaps most importantly the recent revolution in twistorial formulation. And all books are just rough overviews. Details are at homepage and in Huping's journals.

The real communication at the level of details would require civilized academic community but this we do not have in Finland. It hurts me to say this but Finland is the Northern Korea of theoretical physics.
