My influental colleagues in Helsinki University who have told last 31 years in every possible occasion that I am totally mad, became understandably very angry. Since they could not punish Nature for behaving according to the predictions of TGD, they decided to punish me. I am not allowed to use university computer for my homepage anymore. This would not be a problem as such but they also refused to redirect visitors to my new homepage. These idiots have reached their holy goal: TGD has more or less disappeared from the web.
I have not yet had time and energy to update links from the blog to my homepage. When the link fails to work the recipe is however very simple: replace http://www.helsinki.fi/~matpitka/
in the link with
http://tgd.wippiespace.com/public_html/
and everything should work. Thank you very much for your kind attention.

Glad that you are back from short hiatus. Sad that you have experienced such poor treatment. Glad that you had a backup AND this blog, which gives nice little snippets of TGD. Thanks and keep it up:)

The situation in particle physics related theoretical physics is in sad and due to the navel gazing mentality (an expression that I found for the situation in Peter Woit's blog discussion) the situation will continue.
Theoretical particle physicists should be able to overcome the arrogancy, which is one of the defining characteristics of the community. Something very difficult. The day when brilliant young colleague is able to do this and starts learning TGD seriously, will be the turning point.

Reginald Jaynes earned his PhD in EE from the University of Michigan. He is employed by a defense contractor in the radar field.
He also pursues "free energy" research. His personal website was hosted by the Univ. of Mich. until just recently. Whether there is a time limit after one graduates or his "fringe" work is embarassing the PWTB at his old school, his site is no longer there (refer to http://www.stealthskater.com/PX.htm#Jaynes ).
I'm using the aforementioned "Wayback Machine" to retrieve some of those essays and will be updating my page shortly.
Reggie is adept at mathmatically solving complex Radar scenarios. But he seems to reference "far-out" sources in his theoretical pursuits of his hobby pursuits.
But he is also a "hands-on" experimenter (including a SOLID-STATE Tesla coil!). He said that some of these -- as well as his theoretical (albeit non-rigorous) conjectures -- are based on personal experiences.
Your case may be entirely different than his. But his site also was removed -- just like yours.

Evolution means differentiation and dispersion,according to the time-space cone, also knowledge disperse. Seems like the more facts we collect, the more stupidity occurs. Suppose it´s following the Planck - constant enlargement. Also emptiness is growing. Wisdom is quite another thing than knowledge.
Yesterday I read an old, ancient story from "the beginning of the time".
"Have you not seen apparently learned people who were really ignorant, and again, other people who, though unschooled, you felt to be wise? Truth and love are the insignia of rank which the loss of title or position can´t destroy. With or without crowns, they were kings. Thank you for all for encouraging words. There are also copies of homepage around the world (K.R.A.M. has one such, thank you!) besides the newly located homepage, which I am busily updating. The practical problems are the out-of-date links and the refusal of Helsinki University to redirect.
I have finally understood the mathematical structure of TGD and working busily with details. These mathematical periods have been the happiest periods of my life. I have very strong feeling that it is done now. Really. With my silly brains the mathematical understanding of TGD took 31 years of total devotion and I am really proud.
Best manner to learn how little the formal position in the society means is to have friends without formal education. I have some friends doing very practical things. This interaction has taught to me that academic people have often have lost the ability to see the world directly without the heavy burden of existing "literature". People solving practical problems cannot afford this kind load.
It is easy to recognize the people who have realized that seeking the truth and expressing it is why we are here. Maybe the basic variational principle of conscious existence is to become more aware, more conscious of what existence is. As the awareness about this basic goal deepens, so called personal problems gradually lose their importance.

With your silly brain as you say, you have done something wonderful. If your brain is silly, what about mine then?
My science is about searching for the twig that is part of a branch that will form a tree. You begin with the tree. And somewhere on the way they meet.
If you are a particle among other, what do then tell you what to become when you grows? Not you yourself! Perhaps other particles as interference with their attractions/antipathies? By chance, or chaos? I don´t think so. Creation by chaos also destroys at the same pace.
The "observer" or self is popular today. Your "self" is then also "God" or as you tell us, the magnetic body, the "hidden" dimensions (as you see I am not a physical expert, I´m a biologist who try to understand your physic).
What is then "his" tools in creation? Of course consciousness, that will give us all opportunities to form the world to be. The creation or manifestation lies in the quantum jump, in the possibilities, as you so many times have pointed out. "The world is the thought of God".
In this world your p-adic is the branch and Planck is the grade, the fractal issue, or the size of the conscious thought. Correct me if I´m wrong.
Today our world is changing rapidly. We will meet an enormous increase in the conscious level or grade (Planck) through developement of quantum computers etc. Our world of tomorrow will be a quantum world?
Therefore it is very important now, what we say or do. How we culture our consciousness minds.
